Free WiFi! Great for scrolling through social media instead of enjoying the lovely gardens. And the shared lounge was perfect for eavesdropping on other guests' conversations. So entertaining!
Oh, and did I mention the water pressure was abysmal? Perfect for having a shampoo-filled head for the rest of the day.

I had an amazing stay here at the hotel. The host Sharon was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The cottage itself was absolutely beautiful and had a unique charm. The extensive grounds were a lovely addition, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfasts were generous and delicious, prepared with local produce. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated that this hotel is dog-friendly. It was great to be able to bring my furry friend along. The location was ideal, as it was both peaceful and easy to get to Stockland Village and the coastal areas.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

I recently stayed at Ford House for a weekend getaway. The old cottage had a charming and authentic feel with original features and furniture. It was incredibly comfortable and clean, equipped with everything I needed. Sharon, the host, was amazing and made a delicious breakfast. The grounds were stunning, perfect for those with pets, with a small river and deer roaming around. It was a peaceful location with no light pollution, great for stargazing, yet close enough to nearby towns and beach towns for day trips.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The value for our money was excellent, with a comfortable room and beautiful surroundings at Ford House. The staff treated us like family, with Sharon being friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
One thing that could make the morning meal even better would be to have a wider variety of vegetarian options available.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful gardens and in the heart of the countryside. the setting alone made for a picturesque and peaceful stay. the breakfast provided was fantastic, with a variety of options including a delicious summer fruits salad.
There were a few aspects that marred our experience. the lack of a hairdryer in the room was a disappointment, especially since I had forgotten to bring my own.
